Little Bo Peep Costume?

I’m hoping to to go as Bo Peep this year, but I’m not sure how to make the costume work. I not really one to buy an actual costume seeing as how they usually end up not fitting right, are too sexy, or overpriced. I usually just buy pieces to a costume from cheap thrift stores or find things from mine or my sisters closets. I know I’ll need a bonnet & staff, but how do i make the blue dress- white lace sort of thing work?

Sounds like a cute costume idea! Well, if you go to the thrift store, there ussually are old prom dresses that are all frilly and poofy. You could even stich on a few things like more ruffles if you find a good one that you’d like to customize. Add some thigh-high white stockings,black mary janes,a matching bonnet and a white cane with a pink ribbon bow tied around it, and your good to go!
