Im in a play at school costume help?

Im in a play at school and it is called True Blue and Trusted. Its an old fashion melo-drama. It was written by R.A. Anderson and R.L. Sweeney. Does anyone know it? Well in the play im Mother, (lame i know but hey better than nothing) i was wondering if you had any costume ideas. Its suppose to be brown and in the style of mid 1800’s

you will probably end up seeing what your mom has in her closet and throwing something together. you can also look at salvation army or goodwill. here are some ideas:

try to get a longsleeve button up shirt and pair it with a very long brown skirt. maybe a bonnet and an apron over it.
