How to Find Great Deals at the Disney Store
Secret shoppers are so interesting. It’s a profession anyone would love to have. Many girls and women love to shop. A favorite family stop in the mall is generally the Disney Store. Whether you are going to Disney Land, Disney World, on a Disney Cruise, or are just having a fun princess or Mickey Mouse party, the Disney store is a fun place to look around and buy interesting things that you don’t see every day at your local discount store or online.
Tough financial times, however, require many stores to lower their prices. While previously, some guests of the Disney Store found it to be too pricey, things are beginning to change! This store used to have a bad reputation for high prices, but they often have $5 sales to off set the other bigger items in the store that might cost more. The best time to shop at the Disney Store is after a season when they are clearance out their old inventory. The worst time to shop there is Halloween and Christmas when costumes and other items are in high demand. However, the day after Thanksgiving is the one day when you may find very deep sales and discounts there. If you have time to stop by, it is always worth it. Last year they had large stuffed Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Jasmine dolls on sale for $5 each!
Girls favorite items at the Disney Store can range from sleepwear to princess costumes and accessories. Gracing every wall from ceiling to floor you will find elegant and stunning Ariel and Belle costumes with every stuffed animal and accessory imaginable like wands, tiaras and dress up shoes. Prices range from $20 to $50 and it is really nice that they have different sizes to fit girls 2T all the way up to 8. Of course, there’s always the princess dishes and other clothing like t-shirts and shorts.
Many times boys like Mickey Mouse or Cars. Whether it’s swimming trunks, model cars, or die cast vehicles, your little boy could go crazy in this fun toy store! Some little boys like to go in and try on the fun costumes for Halloween or just for every day dress up play. Mickey swim trunks, sunglasses, and matching beach towels are also fun and inexpensive if you find them directly after a season is over.
Don’t leave out the adults! Many adults like to go to this store in the mall to find adult costumes, accessories, DVD’s and fun collectibles.
Of course, before your family’s next trip to Disney Land, stock up at the Disney Store before you go because once you get there, the prices are astronomical, but it is so fun to dress up as your favorite character like the princesses or Mickey Mouse. Kmart sometimes has princess and Disney t-shirts and clothes for less expensice prices than the D.Store itself.
As an alternative to the Disney Store costumes, try Little Adventures dresses. They are a little more simple, but they are machine washable and come in bigger sizes all the way from 2T to adult. With a fullness slip, they are the perfect dress to pack in the Disneyland suitcase!
