Why are most ghosts from the 1800’s or so? Alot of the haunted places that I have read about have ghosts from

way in the past. I like to watch those haunted places shows and its always a man or woman dressed in old clothes looking or waiting for their loved one or a confederate soldier or an American Indian ghost and things of that nature. Enough people have died tragically in this century do these people haunt anywhere? Is is just that we live in a disposable society where people don’t feel that close to anything or anyone? Just wondering?

People are less ignorant for the most part and as we become more informed and less child like, we stop believing in silly tales.
In some countries, there are still those who believe that a camera will steal their soul!
We know here that a soul is just a story we tell our children about for fun.
